Errors U2101, U2300 after losing communication with ForScan

Post by tomi1975 »

Hello, while reading ForScan settings in BCMii Central (Main), the reading stopped and the following message popped up: Error reading file F1FT-14C097-AA.VBF
From this moment, errors in the modules: ABS, BCM, RCM, RFA, PDM, DDM fell in all the same codes: U2300 Central configuration or U2101 Control module configuration incompatible.
Are configuration files ready? do you have to manually enter everything now in the individual modules?

Hey, I have this file, but the problem is that the information about ABS, SRS, etc. is not filled in, you have to set everything manually, and in some windows you can not change it, there are NO SET or UNKNOW options and nothing more.

I know it's fourm Forscan;) I just wanted to show that this configuration file is half empty. I'm sorry I used Focccus but Forscan doesn't open files offline without connecting to the car.
Regardless of which program you use to open the file, half of the information contained in the file is set to UNKNOW, NO SET, does it mean that I have to set these fields manually, it is over 100 items

Hello, I'm using ELM327 v3 from VIAKEN
Problem solved :)
For those who do not recognize the other fourm :)
go to www.motorcraftservice.com to download the Module Bulid Data (As-Built) file, typically at the car's vin number. The file saved in the .ab format cannot be opened in ForScan, but with another program we will open it offline and we have a central configuration reading. But this is fourm ForScan so we have to choose another method !!! together with the As-bulit file, it displays a list of hex-coded modules used in the car. You must take a screenshot of this list because it is not a downloadable file.
Now in ForScan we open individual modules in As-Bulit mode and compare hex encoding, if it is different we change to it from the list. Finally, we open the Central Configuration Module (Main), it is then 100% configured. Finally, reading and clearing the DTC errors.
The errors disappeared and the lights went out, the car is working again :)
