Hey Guys,

So, I have managed to mount the front module and even though I misaligned it first, I have already changed that.
Kuma476 helped with the programming too.
I did several long highway drives (20 mins+) with FORScan running the module calibration, but nothing have happened.

I don't know if I missed something or the module is just malfunctioning without generating any failure codes...
Do you have any tips/ideas or ways to figure out what the issue is?

Hi, to calibrate the IMPA is similar procedure as per your photo, when the box shown pops up you have to start your car, in neutral, foot on brake, press ok, another box pops up saying wait, after a few mins then it will say drive along a straightish road with white lines on curb and centre. You will see a progress bar in blue once it reaches 100% then calibration is complete. I would have expected the CCM calibration to be similar. Have you tried pressing the ok button?
I attempted this retrofit on a mk8 Fiesta, added the CCM, ran wiring, programmed vin, assume you have done all this already? I Was unable to get it working correctly and gave up in the end, reverted to standard cruise.
With car level, front bumper removed use a spirit level on CCM face to ensure perfectly level. Refit bumper perform calibration. At the time Forscan versions 2.4.3 and 2.3.40 did not have calibrate CCM function available. I asked Forscan team and they sent me a test version, believe this has been implemented on latest version 2.3.41.
Perhaps there's still an issue.
I am now attempting this on my mk4 Focus, luckily mine already has both CCM and Correct IMPA installed already, so hoping it will be just programming.
We shall see. Also Just retrofitted side sensors to add active park assist and Flank guard, wired in, sprayed new sensors to match. Just re fitted both bumpers back on to car. Now for all the programming, hoping for more success with Focus then Fiesta.

Hi Graham17,

I am currently using FORScan v2.4.3 test20210121 which seems to have C-CM calibration there.

I have installed the module and the cables, then aligned it with a spirit level with the narrow edge of the sensor (it is not perfectly in center, but it is aligned same as the floor looked like) and updated the as-built configs.

This is how I tried to run the calibration:
- connect FORScan to the car
- start the calibration and click OK on the first prompt (calibrate cruise control sensor)
- start the engine and immediately click okay on the second prompt (run the engine and keep it idle) - maybe this is where I would need to wait? I tried it once for like a minute or so but nothing changed.
- wait 20+ mins and click OK on the third prompt - by that time the alert message ideally would go off but as it remained there I just wanted to cancel the process... (Please do the following actions)

Do not press the ok button at the first promt and drive the car until you get the message on the instrument cluster and then press ok.
Try it.

So if wait at the first FORScan prompt, I should get a message on the cluster, other than the 'front sensor not aligned' alert?

And the engine do not need to run until the second message right?

I will give ijt a try.

I tried it again, but I am probably still doing something wrong, as I have seen no message on the cluster.

This is what I did:
- Turn the car on (but not the engine)
- Connect FORScan
- Start the C-CM alignment and wait at the first popup for around a minute
- Press OK, as there was no change on the cluster.
- Turned the engine on (as requested by the second popup) and wait around a minute
- Start to drive and hit OK when I reached the highway - still no new messages
But nothing changed.

Should I drive the car and wait at the first popup until seeing a new cluster message?
But in the FORScan log window, it says 'process started' only when I press OK on the first message.

Also, I have a USB Modified ELM327 - FTDI chip OBD writer that has an MS and HS switch. I have seen that the C-CM module reading happens in HS at the startup, but the calibration gets interrupted if it is not in MS state. I do not know if this is OK.

Maybe you have to press ok after you get the message calibration done. Why do you press ok when you reach highway?

I hit OK on the second message which says - Start engine and keep it idle.
I think there I should press OK as it will show the third popup which tells me to drive above 50kmph for 8-15 mins.

Ive just noticed something, in.photos your running Forscan version 2.4.3 test, same version i had which didnt have CCM calibration on mine?, I also tried 2.3.40 neither did this, so Forscan team sent me a new test version of 2.3.41 which is now implememted. I asked if they could send me a test for 2.4.3 and they said it was never available on that version, yet your running it?
This seems strange Forscan say its not available but your using it? Maybe try it out on 2.3.41 latest version which def does have it and attempt recalibrate on that.
Keep us posted. Pethaps Forscan team can chime i here and advise??
Thanks
