Well, I just noticed that pins 6 and 12 on the display connector are already wired. Does anyone know where those wires go? Maybe there's an easier way to wire the camera other than behind the display.
If you’ve got oem satnav in your car already this will use pin 6 and 12 for audio from display to the CD player

If you haven’t got satnav then yes it’s for reverse camera because you can’t mix voice over and display on the same pins only way of doing that is if you connect the video to the green socket on the back of satnav screen and voice over on the pin 6 and 12

When you activate the camera in forscan you don’t need to mess with apim settings you need a high low modified canbus obd plug and a license on forscan then you need to go into engineering on both main config and backup config and write and save both otherwise if only one of them done it will revert back to default settings if camera doesn’t show straight away normally sorts itself out within 10 mins hope this helps
